The Client

Located in Buenos Aires, South America there is a thriving nightlife that is gaining media attention across the globe.  Panachic is a site that keeps you up to date by covering people, parties, and the latest trends from Buenos Aires and around the world.  Within Panachic you will discover new events, styles, artists, insider recommendations, and much more.  Find out what you've been missing.

The Challenge

The ultimate goal of Panachic was to develop a brand that maintained the simplicity and style their industry demands.  In addition to a brand and identity Panachic needed to support a community of users with an easy to navigate information portal.  The portal needed to be based on Wordpress as their team was most familiar with this platform.  The interface needed to be minimal but provide a modern edge.  There was also a need for many photo galleries that would archive after each nightlife event that they covered.

Our Approach

We utilized a symbol silhouette to bring an element of style to the typographic logo for Panachic.  The selection of black, white and red provided simplicity with an edge.  After branding approval our team wire framed the project with the Panachic management to ensure a collaborative effort for the IA (Information Architecture) at a high level.  The platform selected was Wordpress so there was integration of several customizations to accommodate the language translation and additional requirements.  The galleries were created so they could be created on the fly within individual blog posts.  Wordpress is a powerful platform so we were able to prepare for growth by implementing some advertising features as the site gains visibility and traffic.

The Outcome

Panachic has launched and established a strong presence, not only as an organization in Buenos Aires but also on the World Wide Web.  Their site is run on a CDN (Content Delivery Network) to accommodate the geographical differences from Cre8tive Inc. and ensure optimal performance for their end users.  The Panachic team has complete control of the images and content of their site and there are plans in the works to expand to additional cities in the near future.
